VETASSESS Skill Assessment of Skills for Migration Application Process
VETASSESS skill assessment has become
a well-known platform, which allows Australian immigration aspirants to show
their eligibility in a chosen occupation. All they have to do is to choose an
occupation and show their competency to be assessed by VETASSESS. If you are
one of such aspirants, then read this blog. Here, we will familiarize you with
the application process for skills assessment for migration.
Application
process:
VETASSESS skill assessment involves
evaluating your qualifications and employment taking into account the
suitability of your nominated occupation. Qualification assessment includes
evaluating the educational level comparability of your qualifications on the
Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) and determining the relevancy of your
qualification for the occupation you nominated.
Employment
evaluation involves determining if your work experience (gained within
Australia or overseas) is at an appropriate skill level and related to your
nominated occupation.
A positive
evaluation of both employment and qualifications is necessary for a successful
skills assessment for migration.
Skilled occupations lists:
Occupations
may be eliminated from either the Short-term Skilled Occupation List (STSOL),
the Medium and Long-term Strategic Skills List (MLTSSL), and the Regional
Occupation List also called ROL at any time without any notice given by the
government of Australia.
It is your
responsibility to make sure that your proposed occupation is eligible at eh
date when you submit your application to the authority, VETASSESS.
