There are 4 stages to attain IOM3 membership with or without registration:

The stages to get IOM3 membership are such as-

The base education: A recognized and valuable qualification of level 7 like a master’s degree or any alternate qualification like a bachelor’s degree topped with a Ph.D. or MSc or any training scheme of a company with authority, which needs evaluation. A candidate not fulfilling the criteria can also apply using the Technical Report Route (TRR) and take consultation from the TRR guide.

Early-stage Professional Development: At the starting point and developmental year of the job structured development is demonstrated, also having to earn experience in responsibilities. It can be utilizing an IPD plan or measuring work experience.

Sustainable professional development: An obligation to maintain practice competency.

Professional Review: Offering proof and assessment of the same user using the review process to find whether the contender has attained both professional competency and a commitment to professional codes.

Chartership:
