VETASSESES has 6 groups for general occupations. The assessing
organization has split its general occupations into the following groups; A, B,
C, D, E, and F for evaluation reasons as per the indicative skill level on
ANZSCO. The table shown below gives the corresponding groups with their skill
level. But, the table doesn’t have group F, as it only has one occupation.

let’s move ahead to know the qualification requirements for each group:
Group A
Qualifications evaluated at Australian Bachelor degree or higher-level
degree with a highly related study field and at least one year of post-qualification
highly relevant employment at a suitable skill level completed within the last
five years.
Employment before qualification will not be taken into account.
Group B
Qualifications evaluated at Australian Bachelor degree or higher
degree with a related field of study and a minimum of one year of
post-qualification highly related employment at a suitable skill completed
within the last five years.
In the case of the degree not highly related, but with a highly
related Diploma and a minimum of two years of post-qualification highly related
employment at a suitable skill level completed in the last five years.
A minimum of 5 years of highly related employment before any
qualification may be taken into consideration.
Group C
A qualification or qualifications evaluated at least AQF Diploma
with a hugely relevant study field and a minimum of one-year post-graduation
highly related employment at a suitable skill level completed off in the period
of the last five years.
In the case of the AQF diploma is not highly related, but with a
highly related AQF Certificate IV, a minimum of one year of
position-qualification highly related employment at a suitable skill level
completed within the last five years.
If the situation is that AQF Diploma is not hugely relevant, a
minimum of 2 years of post-qualification hugely relevant employment at a
suitable skill level completed within the period of the last five years.
A minimum of 3 years of highly relevant employment before any
qualification may be taken into account.
Group D
AQF Certificate IV level, hugely relevant, a minimum of 1 year of
post-qualification hugely related employment at a suitable skill level
completed within a span of the last five years.
AQF Certificate IV level, not highly relevant, a minimum of 2 years
of post-qualification highly relevant employment at a suitable skill level
completed within the period of the last 5 years.
AQF Certificate III level, highly related, a minimum of 3-year
post-qualification highly related employment at a suitable skill level
completed with a span of the last 5 years.
A minimum of 3 years highly related employment before any
qualification may be taken into account
Group E
Qualifications evaluated at AQF diploma level with a highly related
field of study and a minimum of one year of post-qualification highly related
employment at a suitable skill level completed within the last five years.
Employment before qualification will not be taken into
consideration.
Group F
Just one occupation in this group (442111 prison officer)
